They're StuffIt archives, like Zip files. You can open them with the free StuffIt Expander from www.aladdinsys.com

Font Lab does not recognize .suit format and I had hoped that Font Lab might have the feature to import Fontographer "fog" format files, but no such luck.
Looks like my free fresh-of-the-site Stuffit decoder mangled the .suit file. (I'm running Windows2000.)
(For those who prefer not to have to register with Alladdin, I tried to look for freeware/nonregistered decoders for Stuffit format
and it appears, from Tucows, there are none.)
