It sound like an optimization problem.� You have two options to make
the groups show up in Page View:
1) run the TGTools "Update Groups" plug-in
2) Page Layout > Optimize and choose to "Remove Optimization" for the
"Whole Document."
Unfortunately, the second option will remove all Optimization data
including system-by-system respacing and the removal of empty staves
from score (if you've chosen to do either of those things).� If you
don't have TGTools, though, I think that is probably your only option.
You'll have to reapply optimization if you want to use those features
again.
