Options > Data Check > Swap One Font For Another can change every
instance of a font in the document to some other font. For example, it
can change every single instance of Times 12pt bold to Helvetica 14pt
italic. However, it will change *every* instance of the font,
including your Default Music Font setting. So if the expressions you
want to change are all Maestro 24pt, but your Default Music Font is
Maestro 24pt as well (or you have articulations, custom lines, other
expressions, etc. with the same font) it will all get changed when you
run the Swap.

I think it would be best to just bite the bullet and switch each
expression individually. That way you can be sure that nothing is
getting changed except the specific expressions you're choosing to
alter.
