In case anyone has need of such a thing, I've created a new font entitled "Accidentals" with microtones that is compatible with Finale.
The font contains: sharp, 1/4 sharp, 3/4 sharp, natural, 1/4 flat, flat, 3/4 flat, all of the previous with connected arrows above the sign, all of the previous with connected arrows below, all of the above with a separate up-arrow, all of the above with a separate down-arrow, all of the above in parentheses, double sharp, double flat.
The font characters can be used with Finale either as articulations (a Finale file is included from which a library can be extracted) or via the usual Music Characters/Select Default Font fudges.
Thanks - extremely helpful to have a proper set in a font, rather than my Engraver 'modifications'. I've been a satisfied customer with the Tuplet Numbers font for some time, too.
By the way, it's possible to set up a proper quarter-tone system through non-standard key signatures - anybody who needs/wants to know how, let me know :)
