Despite lots of advice from a helpful software expert at m-audio.com, I have failed to get Windows XP to install drivers for the Midiman Keystation 49 and acknowledge its presence, so I am now considering buying an external box to attach MIDI sockets, preferably via the laptop's PC Card slot that is not likely to be required for anything else. This has the advantage that it will cope with my other MIDI keyboards also. Has any of you used this method and can you recommend a product?
