Jef,
I think the lack of response may be due to the fact that virtually no one is using Finale2004 for OS 9. The overwhelming consensus on this list is that Fin2004 for OS 9 is virtually unusable and was a waste of Coda's time and resources. For all I know, it's not possible to make PDFs in Fin2004 for OS 9.
If you have an OS X partition on your machine, you might consider rebooting into OS X for PDF-making. (And you can do that natively, without Acrobat.)

okay, from another perspective, has anyone actually SUCCEEDED in printing to acrobat/distiller using 2004c in OS9? i also tried notepad, and it crashed as well. using 2003b i can print.
anyone experience crashing when printing to acrobat? i get an error 2, shouldn't be memory related, i gave it 150M min./200M preferred, and it still crashes every time, i can't print. the document is 33 pages, 280k.
