I don't generally care about playback but a student of mine does, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to do what he wants.
He has a D.S. al Coda where the jump to the Coda happens *after* a first ending - second ending repeat. Everything is working fine except that, on the D.S. pass, Finale always omits the first ending and jumps straight to the second ending. The student wants both endings played on the D.S. pass.
How do I set this up? (This is in Fin2003, if it makes a difference.)
