Tapered dotted slurs :

I've been requesting this feature addition for years now, and it seems that I may be the only one that did it, so I am asking the people on the list if they would like this feature added. I can live without it and it is not a bug or malfunction of the software, but pre-computer engravers could do it easily with their tools and I find it very strange that a piece of software as sophisticated as Finale can't handle this.

An example of this kind of slur can be found on p. 36 of Kurt Stone's Music Notation in the Twentieth Century. The problem now with Finale is that the dotted slur consist only of an arched dotted line. It is NOT tapered as with a normal slur.

It may be far from the top of the most wanted feature addition, but I would like to know the opinions of the engravers on that topic. If I wasn't the only one requesting it, I think it could be pretty easily implemented in the next (2006 as it is far too late for 2005) release.
