(1) When I open the lyric tool in MacFin 24kc, it defaults to a
given font and size (geneva 12, I think). I don't see the option of
changing either parameter, though I've looked around. Any Help?
(2) In my old Fin program (2001), I used to print on a Apple Laser
360 with beautiful copies. On my new iMac (OS Xc), and an Epson
(CX6400) printer, the manuscript comes out not bad, but I can still
see some jagged edges on sloped beams, etc. Is this all I can expect
on that particular printer, or are there some settings witch can
enhance the quality?
1) in Options/Document Settings/Fonts you can set the default font for
the lyrics. It won't change any you've already written but any you
enter after you've changed the default font should show up in your
newly chosen font.
2) Your printer may have a properties dialog where you can increase
the resolution it prints at. Many printers are capable of higher
resolution but when you install them the default setting is a lower
resolution (300dpi as opposed to 1200dpi) so you get more pages out of
the toner cartridge. Of course I may be all wet on this point, but in
the PC world that's a common occurence.
