Jari: I didn't find anything called "automatic Lyric Update" in Program Options, but I did find an auto or manual setting for hyphens and word extentions. It was on auto, so I switched to manual, and it seems to have made the difference. However, I checked another choral file which works fine, and it was, and has been defaulted to auto. So, that part still remains a mystery, but thanks for helping this file to work.

Sounds like you haven't turned OFF the automatic lyric updates in Program Options.
