Are you under the impression that I'm impatient about the delay while I wait for pages to load?

Isn't everyone? I mean, all other things being equal, you'd prefer *not* to wait for new pages to load, right?

Well, yeah, but it's not a very strong preference.

Anyway, unless I'm misunderstanding, it doesn't actually load any faster, it just loads in background while you're doing something else. So it's only helpful if I know ahead of time what I'm going to read next and plan ahead for it. If I finish one page and then say, "Hm, where shall I go now? I know, I'll go to xyz," then it doesn't do me any good. Fortunately, for those cases I have my own scheme for loading in background. If I step away from the computer for a minute to get a glass of juice, or look at a book, or stretch, or step outside on the deck, or just refocus my eyes on anything other than a computer screen, the page loads in "background" while I do that.
