Hello. I would like to know if anyone on the list uses Windows Finale with 2 or more monitors. If so, how does Finale's MDI interface work in this context? When I run WinFin, I don't picture how I could view two Finale docs on two different monitors without dragging the Finale app window across both of them. To me, it seems like this could be cumbersome both for managing screen real estate and for accessing menu items from the secondary monitor.
But I'm curious to know if anyone is actually doing this. (Viewing 2 docs on 2 separate monitors in Windows.) Any insights you have would be appreciated. (I'm utterly uninterested in having yet another SDI vs. MDI war here. I would urge that if Makemusic ever offered SDI it should be optional. I have resolved to ignore posts from anyone who merely wants to have the boring SDI/MDI argument. Lately, ignoring posts from this list has become astonishingly easy to do.)
