I somehow doubt that you will get Fin97 to work properly (especially with MIDI) in the Classic Environment run from OS X. Perhaps someone else has tried it? Perhaps it is time for an update?

BTW, it would be nice to know your name.

Hi everyone----I'm having a problem using Hyperscribe for real time midi entry using my Fatar SL-990 going thru an Edirol midi interface and into the usb port on my iBook. I'm using Finale 97b and my question is, do I need to use a midi keyboard with internal sounds? (my keyboard is strictly a midi controller and uses Reason software sound banks for its sounds)

Finale is not "hearing" my keyboard even though the Edirol interface flashes on and off indicating the presence of a signal.

Also, would it have to do with the fact that this version of Finale opens using Mac OS 9 and everything else I use is configured on Mac OS X?

FYI---the Fatar SL-990 is an 88 key, velocity sensitive midi controller with no internal sounds.
