I'm using Finale 97b and my question is, do I need to use a midi keyboard with internal sounds? (my keyboard is strictly a midi controller and uses Reason software sound banks for its sounds)
Finale is not "hearing" my keyboard even though the Edirol interface flashes on and off indicating the presence of a signal.
Also, would it have to do with the fact that this version of Finale opens using Mac OS 9 and everything else I use is configured on Mac OS X?
FYI---the Fatar SL-990 is an 88 key, velocity sensitive midi controller with no internal sounds.
