I think the best tip in this case is to look up
- layers
- voices
in the manual. After that you may have many questions, come back to us then.
(The two are different. Rule of the thumb: Layers for anything polyphonic, voices for places where chords break up into different rhythms for only a beat or two. Layers can do almost anything that voices can, but voices can be easier to enter when only a few extra notes appear.)
