This may not be what you want to hear, but the HP5100DN is a tank.  I had a
5000 and traded it in for a 5100.  They are essentially the same printer
with a few external and firmware mods.  I lease my systems, both the Mac,
monitors, and printer.  If you're writing off your system, it's a great way
to save money, and get a legitimately huge deduction.  My last leases
involved everything, 24 months, no interest, thru HP Financial.  Might be
worth looking into.
