I can't find it on the Help | index menu, probably because of the English terminology. 3 possible ways: 1. Create a first measure that has a 1/4 time signature, but still displays as 4/4 (Use Different Time Signature for Display in the Time Signature dialog box). This can make it difficult to number the measures later, as the pickup is counted as the first measure. 2. Options | Pickup Measure... menu. This way is good because it defines the measure after the pickup as the first measure (The pickup is measure "#1," while the first measure is "1"). 3. Create a new document with the Setup Wizard, and define the pickup measure in the appropriate dialog box along the way. #3 is probably the easiest if you haven't yet started entering notes, but it basically does the same thing as #2. -- Brad Beyenhof [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://augmentedfourth.blogspot.com _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
