I thought the whole idea of Xinfonia was that it was open source? Does it no longer exist? Perhaps the project was given up? Should I write to Blake Hodgetts to find out? He is the author not only of Xinfonia, but also of Maestro.I searched Google using "Xinfonia" and did not find anything pointing to
Personally I have used Xinfonia to create my very own personal music font. (Which is not open source, since it uses some Maestro and Engraver symbols, too.)

the source. It looks like you mentioned in an earlier posting (2/16/20030 that Xinfonia was part of the Xemo project; unfortunately, the founders of Xemo have not fixed their servers so any source code, including the Xinfonia font, can be downloaded. I have written theM (snail mail, as well) urging them to dedicate the project to SourceForge.
Johannes, anything you could do to bring more light on the subject could be helpful. It may be that Hodgetts is under contract with MakeMusic not to product a font that is compoetitive with the Maestro font -- assuming his creation of Maestro was a "for hire" type situation.
