The text block I was trying to copy contained a (Copyright) sign. Otherwise nothing unusual about it.

I haven't tried that part of TG Tools, but I AM having problems simply copying text from FinMac2005 text blocks. I can consistently crash AppleWorks 6 by trying to copy the contents of a Finale text block into a word processing document, and I even managed to crash Finder. I couldnt' get the text to copy into Text Edit either, which quit unceremoniously when I tried. A restart (several, in fact) did no good; the behaviours were consistent. The text block DID contain some French diacriticals, perhaps that relates to your problem and to Stig's as well. This sounds more like an OS problem than Finale's.

I am trying to transfer some text blocks using TGTools Transfer. However, the copy part of it doesn't seem to work, it just beeps at me, but doesn't seem to copy anything, whether the text field "must contain" is empty or contains a word.
Consequently pasting doesn't do anything either, but at least it doesn't beep.

Am I missing anything?
