1) Is there a way to use circled letters in a text box or measure expression; and
2) Is there a way to force a text box to appear on the last page, regardless of what page number that is?
I want to add an instruction to the end of a score which says "Play C as interlude between solos. Play A2 to go out."
Here's the rubs: I want to place this in the score in such as a way as to appear on extracted parts, on the last page. Also, I want C & A2 to appear in circles, as it does on the score. Lastly, I'd like to enclose the whole instruction.
If I do this as a measure expression, I would have to create 2 separate measure expressions, since I can circle only 1 letter in each expression, using the enclosure feature. Unfortunately, I can't then enclose the expression, either.
If I do this as a text block, I can enclose the entire block, but I can't have circled rehearsal letters. I can also have this placed on page 2, which will work for most of the parts, but is clunky-looking on the score.
Thanks!

I experimented with your problem and came up with the following:
1. Create your text block in the Shape Designer attached to the peoper place in the score. Select the text tool in the designer, select your font, and type in the instruction leaving an extra space before and after the C and the A2. Select the ellipse tool and drag a circle around the proper items. Then select the Rectangle tool and drag an enclosure around the whole expression. Choose the Selection Tool and drag across the whole expression, then choose "Group..." from the Menu.
2. On the score, press Shift-Double click on the handle and select Staff List. Set up a staff list to display on the top staff of the score and on all parts.
3. You may have to do a little adjusting to make sure the circles are in the right place. You can do it by double-clicking the handle and dragging one of the middle handles on the left or right side that appear.
I tried it and had very little difficulty. Assigning the expression to the proper measure in the score will assure you of having it on the same measure in the parts. Using the Shape Designer allows you to create the circles and the enclosure for all of them.
I hope it works for you.
