We Aussies are finally being offered WinFin2005. Is it worth it? I heard lots of complaints about it being very slow.
Slow compared to what? Fin2004 was slow if you didn't turn off automatic lyric updating, but that was fixed in Fin2005. Also, Fin2004's screen update system is slower than the system used in Fin2003 and earlier versions, but that doesn't make it specific to Fin2005.
I don't recall any area where Fin2005 is slower than Fin2004...?
I've got 2004. What features are worth having in 2005?
Some things that perhaps might interesting:
* If you're use playback stuff: Improved HP including GPO support
* If you're entering music: Much-improved tuplets (make sure you get the Fin2005a update) and repeats
* Music layout: Couple of powerful/useful music layout settings (also with a few new additions in Fin2005a)
