Well, I eschewed both toast and jam, did as Darcy suggested, drug the audio files into iTunes, loaded a CD-R in my computer and burned the files in question. Worked like a charm, I am pleased to say. What would I do without this list?

Well, you need either iTunes or Toast or Jam or something similar to burn an audio CD. No use burning audio files to a Data CD;-)

I am running MacFin04 on my iMac. Is there a way to transfer a finale file to a CD and have it playback from that CD on a normal home CD player? Since I'm on a iMac, would it involve using itunes, or is their an easier way ... if there is a way at all?
File menu, Save Special, Save as audio file.
And then burn your audio files to a CD.
No need for itunes or ianything else.
