Uh, that's really weird. The Finale 2005 CD mounts just fine in most older Macs, including mine. I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work in your PowerBook. Is there anything about this in Coda's online forum?

For some strange reason, the hybrid Mac/Windows Finale 2005 CD-ROM will not
work in most if not all Mac Titanium G4 PowerBooks!

In 6/2001, I purchased a newly-released 800 MHz G4 Titanium PowerBook. This
is now considered an "older PowerBook G4 model" which Finale Tech Support
has told me will not be able to mount the hybrid Finale 2005 CD-ROM --
DESPITE the fact that the operating system and memory requirements of my
system are WELL within the guidelines!

The only work-around, they told me, is to find a friend who can copy the
files and burn me a new CD.

Has anyone else on the list experienced similar problems?
