In 6/2001, I purchased a newly-released 800 MHz G4 Titanium PowerBook. This is now considered an "older PowerBook G4 model" which Finale Tech Support has told me will not be able to mount the hybrid Finale 2005 CD-ROM -- DESPITE the fact that the operating system and memory requirements of my system are WELL within the guidelines!
The only work-around, they told me, is to find a friend who can copy the files and burn me a new CD.
Has anyone else on the list experienced similar problems?

We have a G4 iMac and a G4 iBook (white). FinMac2005 seems to work fine on both machines. The iBook has a Matshita CD-RW CW-8123 drive with about 60 Gigabytes capacity.
