Can anyone reproduce this bug?

1. In FinMac 2005 or 2005a (and I've seen it in 2004 as well) open a file created in 2003 or earlier and create a few text blocks with plain text in them. Just for good luck, try a few diacriticals on a couple of letters, as I suspect an OS problem with diacriticals. I'm not so sure about the necessity of the file being created in an earlier version.

2. Open one of the text blocks and use command-C to copy the contents.

3. Try to paste it into another program with command-V, like TextEdit or AppleWorks.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 a few times.

This works a couple of times with me, then the Finder hangs and I have to force quit the Finder and then restart. When I try to view the contents of the clipboard, the Finder hangs as well.

G4 733 mHz, 700 or so megs of RAM, OS 10.3.6, though it occurred in the last update of OSX as well.

Thanks a bunch.

Christopher
