I am running 10.3.7 and Finale 2005 without problems. The first iteration of 2005a (I haven't tried the second - waiting for 2005b, or whatever) created problems with tuplets that I could not solve. i.e. - Enhanced tuplets that had been defined as "avoid staff" jumped way too far from the staff and could not be brought back by hand without deselecting "avoid staff," and that proved to be too much trouble - there were too many instances of this in my music, so I went back to 2005 and chose to deal with the far less frequent problem of the tuplets displacing a nearby dynamic marking.
FWIW - When discussing this issue with MacSupport at MM, I have not had the kind of thoughtful, knowledgeable, and gracious response to which I had been long accustomed. I hope this does not signal a trend.
