We are indeed in agreement, but looking at different ways :-)

I#dim is diatonic, substitutes V/II,
II#dim is diatonic, substitutes V/III,

But what we got confused was that VII dim is not diatonic as to how the
diminish chord dictates its scale.  VII dim is just a V without the root.

This, marked Draft, has error on this topic.  Wherever I said 'diminished
chord resolve to' should be read 'move to' instead, because there is no
tonal resolution, while VII dim subbing for V does have tonal resolution.

By the way, all the music example was done in FinMac3.2.  Are we on-topic now?
