Well, I've experienced similar bugs on Windows, though not identical.

And I experienced it in WinFin97 and still have it happen 
occasionally in WinFin2K3.

I've never lost any data, but I have noticed that switching between 
document windows I have sometimes seen document windows display the 
content from another open document (e.g., with File1.mus, File2.mus 
and File3.mus open, sometimes the window titled File1.mus was 
actually displaying the content of File2.mus).

I think there's much in common in *Finale's* use of temp files on 
both platforms, at least based on what people have described on the 
list.
