I've been mucking around with it and it seems all my diskette versions of Finale 3.5.2 (1994) and earlier seem to have been degraded and are unreadable rather than incompatible. I am using a 68k machine -- it is just 2 scores that I am trying to save -- one from 1989 and one from 1991 -- and then I get to tear the whole thing down and throw it away!. My last functional Finale disk is a CD from Finale 97b -- I must have been cheap for 1995/96 as I don't these updates.
Can anyone allow me to download a working version of Finale 2.x or 3.x?
Alternatively, let me send these files to you -- they ain't that big.
It would be nice if Finale made this process easily available from their web site.
As I recall the Holiday Disk was entirely useless to me and so I can't remember it's function -- I just remember it sounded happy but wasn't. Just like a holiday.

2.X files can definitely be opened in both 2K2 and 2K4, even though 2K2 doesn't recognize them as Finale files (choose the "All Files" option in the Open dialog).
