Like many others have said, I have played some of your
arrangements in a school band, though I'm pleased to
say that 5 years ago I escaped crowd control [which
some people call high school music teaching] and have
been teaching piano and musicianship [music theory],
in a regional conservatorium, which I find much more
congenial.
I began with Finale 3, I think, which cost $475 AUD
[academic price]. I use it mainly these days to write
arrangements of popular songs for piano students and
to do transpositions for church musicians, and to
notate the occasional song, usually a new tune to an
old hymn.
