Dear Hiro,

I think that Jari may be on to the thing that is troubling you in the printout 
that looks too heavy.  The Finale default files were changed a couple of years 
ago, and the stems and staff lines were set at 3.5 EVPUS.  This is too thick to 
my eye and gives everything an unrefined and heavy handed look.  In the line 
settings in "Document Options" - try 2.5 for those things, and if that's still 
too heavy, try 2.25 or 2.  If it gets thinner than that, it gets hard for my 
old eyes to read.

I think you can solve this easily.
