In the UK we have heard of Cage, but we listen to Takemitsu's music.
Film buffs will know the music of Michael Nyman (in Peter Greenaway's
films, notably "The Draughtsman's Contract") and some will even know the
name of Richard Rodney Bennett (for "Murder on the Orient Express" and
possibly "Only two can play").
