Agreed. If it were only as simple as having a window with the staff, clef, sharps, flats, naturals, and being able to drag the symbols to where they are required on the staff, it would be great!
Yes, it's a big help not having to touch that dialog box. I have such a plug-in myself for the type of keys I need.
