This is something that really shocked me. Two weeks ago I had my computer
being repaired and I had to use somebody's computer, which had Sibelius. The
work I had to copy was quite complex. Using finale it would take me a whole
morning, so being the first time I would be in front of Sibelius I allowed
myself 3 days for doing it. I found Sibelius to be so easy... I did the whole
work in one day. I found the way for doing rectangular fermatas, which is
really easy, I don't know how to do them in finale; I could insert very
easily the pictures of the percussion instruments, I wouldn't know how to do
it using finale... I did some things that I wouldn't know how to do them with
finale. Botton line: Sibelius is really easy and intuitive to use BUT I guess
that the final score is not at the same quality as if made by finale. I
wonder why don't finale programmers make it more easy to use??
