Yes, that's correct. Microsoft's refusals to fully implement CSS and fix existing CSS bugs makes IE a very difficult browser to target. After all, some of the things IE doesn't support was defined almost 10 years ago...
Actually, what I'm trying to do is to work around existing IE CSS bugs by "take advantage" of other IE bugs, but that seems to not work well with MacIE. Perhaps I need to disable the static menu to the left on MacIE.
