Dennis I quite like the scheme. I get to use Finale in my office and on my laptop. No messing about with CDs and when I've phoned because my hard drive has blown up or I've changed computer they're always very cool about it. I don't feel like a victim, and I've benefitted greatly from the upgrades. Just thought I should put one on record as you're using fairly inflammatory language that certainly doesn't square with my experience. In view of the current "something for nothing" climate where piracy is rife, MakeMusic! are being pretty good about authentication, they dropped the old unpopular one that required CD authentication. However, iff MakeMusic! go down, I'll strap on a wooden leg and whack on an eye patch faster than your can sing "Fifty barrels on a dead mans chest" ... or whatever it was. -- Simon Troup Digital Music Art ------------------------- Finale IRC channel server: irc.chatspike.net port: 6667 channel: #Finale ------------------------- _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
