Anyway, back to the 1920's -- any seconders for Wozzeck?
I'll second that. We're working on this piece at the moment in Mannheim (premiere on April 2nd) and I'm constantly fascinated and overwhelmed by the power of the music. I'd put this piece in for best works of the 20th century.
