Once the settings of Explode Music have been defined, it is indeed very fast.
I concede that there are a lot of other useful options available in TGExplode music.

Where TG Tools gets a lot faster is if there is a variety of methods and markings for second voices - different layers, same stem, "Solo", "I.", "Unis." "a2", etc. TG Tools sorts it all out, defaults to unison or not as you decide, removes the extraneous text, repairs stems directions and lengths, re-aligns dynamics and hairpins, and a whole host of other things that escape me at the moment.
Nevertheless, sometimes it is easier just to hit 2 in Mass Edit, especially if I don't need all the advanced features I happily paid for in TG Tools. So I use both at different times.
