Er, "little snitch" is just a software firewall, a good thing to have on any computer where you want to control outgoing connections.

Little snitch is not a firewall. It may do similar things. It won't block any incoming traffic. It's used primarily to find out why MacOSX is trying to establish a modem connection all the time. It is not port dependent like a firewall, but application dependent.


(How come you know anything about a little niche Mac shareware app?)
