Beam to time signature, using a composite time signature of 2+2+3 8ths.
When I did that, it screwed up all the rhythms... making every measure too long, with notes bumped into ... on, no matter. It didn't work.
This is a file I imported from (ugh) Encore, so maybe that's the problem.
I'm using Mac, OSX, finale 2004.
