Nope. That's what makes it so legible. And if the noteheads were truly oversized, they would cause overlap and displacement problems when stacked in chords--and they don't.
Among the traditional fonts shipped with Finale, my preference goes to Maestro.
I don't like the appearance of Maestro's articulations, esp. the trill. The accent looks funny too, and the fermata is too small.
