I've always wondered why the programmers have chosen to lump these two into a single option, and given us only an on/off for both instead of separating them into two options. While it isn't often that one would want only one and not the other, it certainly shouldn't be that difficult to program. And they've allowed us separate options for key/meter display at the start of a measure.

Maybe it's time for a flood of feature requests to separate the hide cautionary options into hide cautionary key signature as well as hide cautionary time signature options?

Not if you want the cautionary key sig to show.

Assuming the Trio and Menuet have different meters, set the first bar of the Trio to Always Hide Time Sig. Then insert the time sig as a meas-attached expression.

Well, actually, it does. I was surprised by this, but simply making the meter show (which it should) will also make it show a cautionary.

Can't you hide the cautionary meter in previous measure with Measure Attributes?
