It's been a long time since I worked with AOL, but if I remember 
correctly, there's two different ways to attach files. One of them is 
an industry-standard attachment, while the other is an AOL 
proprietary format. I don't remember the terminology within AOL for 
this latter method, but it is the default method that causes the 
problem -- you have to do an extra step to send an actual attachment.
