I am not a professional engraver, yet the time saved every year justifies most upgrades _for me_.

Sure, what you wrote was _your opinion_, it couldn't possibly have been anything else.

Yet you generalized, that _in your opinion_ the improvements didn't justify the upgrade price for anyone but professional engravers. To which I express _my opinion_, that I think this is a completely stupid generalization and depends entirely on how much you benefit from those improvements, professional engraver or not.

Since you already expressed you won't upgrade unless they change their copy protection policy, which _in my opinion_ won't happen for some time, you will not benefit at all. Free will. And _your opinion_.

This discussion has turned into a completely pointless war on words, and _I think_ we better leave it at this.

What a completely stupid thing to say. It may not justify the upgrade
price for _you_, but this all depends on how many hours of work you
can save in that year, and how much those hours are worth for you.

Did you miss the "in my opinion" part of what I wrote?

Professional engravers have different needs. I excluded them from my comments about those who upgrade very year.

For the rest of us, the vast majority of Finale users, the value just isn't there.

And that doesn't speak well for the long-term viability of Finale.
