You can use partial measure selection too if you just want to change a
few notes...
Best,
Karen
Is there some way to selectively hide ledger lines? I was hoping
this would be possible with Staff Styles, but no such luck.
Here's what I'm trying to do -- I have a high violin part and I want
to indicate a jagged (sliding) glissando pattern that shows the
contour without specifying the exact pitches where the line changes
direction.
To do this, I first entered some arbitrary notes that would give me
the correct shape when I "connected the dots" with the tab slide
smart shape. Then I hid the stems with a staff style, and hid the
noteheads by specifying an empty font character slot. The actual
jagged line now looks exactly right (and even plays back!) but I
can't figure out how to get rid of the ledger lines.
Cheers,
- Darcy
