please remove all non-essential info from messages when quoting? although receiving individual messages means you can read the first lines to decide to read further, delete, save the messages easily enough, people receiving digests have to slug through the whole thing to try to find the useful bits. often a _significant_ amount of the content of the digest is quotes ... a real pain.
