i find it hard enough already to remember every damn key i have
programmed (i have 36 or so time sig and tuplet metatools!), find that
a couple of more definable key-invoked transpositions would be good,
but a programmable menu would be better for stuff i do only rarely and
which require some preparation to run (eg. transpose augmented unison
up/down). for this i found it efficient to set up a menu with a list
of transpositions in iKey. same for notehead changes (change to with
pause; change to diamonds; change to x; etc.)
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't succeeded in getting even ONE
shortcut to work in iKey yet, and I have the supposedly easy version
(1.0.7).
Now that I have some time, I suppose I can attack it head on, rather
than cleaning my office, or house repairs, or composing, or practicing,
or doing any of the other things that so desperately need doing around
here...
