It sounds like you might be happy using the "alternating bows" articulation exclusively. If so, you just have to put an invisible keyswitching expression that triggers that style of articulation at the beginning of each part in your score.

Well, I tried this, how awful!!!
Now whenever there is an uneven number of notes in a measure it ends up being off-beat emphasized. It sounds like an army of elephants...Dreadful. Is there any way to get a similar kind of attack as with the Finale soundfont cello patch (I personally find that one quite well balanced)?
