If you'd not complained the number of posts on NOTHING would have been exactly ZERO. You admit that your complaint had no basis, since you agree that the two topics are on-topic within the definitions of "on-topic" for this mailing list. Thus, your choice to post a complaint about those threads translates into "THESE THREADS BORE ME!!! PLEASE POST ONLY THINGS THAT ARE OF INTEREST TO ME-ME-ME!!!!!"
