If I'm understanding you correctly, this is in 2006.
Speaking in Windows terms, if you highlight a region
and ctrl+click the target, it copies the music
directly. If you highlight a region and
ctrl+shift+click the target, it brings up the Items to
Copy box where you can check/uncheck the various
items. When you click Ok the copy action is carried
out, filtering out what you didn't want copied.
