Heh, heh! Have you read Frank Zappa's indictment of the orchestra as an organization? It's in his autobiography, and has been widely quoted elsewhere. It's funny, but it's also somewhat true, otherwise it wouldn't be funny.
Dennis B-K posted here something on a similar topic a few years ago equally persuasive. I don't think I kept it, though.
